The Woodland Park Zoo is a big, immersive, and well-laid out zoo. In addition to the many exhibits, there is an interactive Zoomazium with a large indoor play space, a classic Merry-go-round, and (as far as zoos go) a decent snack area. In the winter the zoo is lit up with lights for 'Zoolights', and during the summer they host a number of outdoor concerts in the evening. This is a great experience for the entire family and expect to spend anywhere from 2-4 hours here per visit. Please note that although the zoo closes at 4pm, the last entry is at 4pm. And the indoor exhibits also close at 4pm.
