The Burke Museum is a natural history museum located on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. It was founded in 1899 and is the oldest museum in Washington state. The Burke Museum's collections include more than 16 million artifacts and specimens, ranging from fossils and rocks to cultural objects and wildlife specimens.
