This event has already ended.

Weatherproof!
Tucked away in an unassuming white telecom building in Georgetown, the Museum of Communications is one of the most interesting and impressive exhibits in Seattle. Working telecom equipment lets visitors actually see the mechanics that make telephone calls possible. Impressive arrays of old switching equipment have been carefully restored to give visitors the opportunity to watch rods move, electric motors whir, and sequence switches turn on. And the best part is that the volunteer staff is super friendly and eager to show off their exhibits. Recommended.
