The Pacific Science Center is a major attraction at the Seattle Center. Within its walls are all kinds of fun activities that can keep the kids busy for hours. There are a large number of hands-on exhibits where kids can experience a wide range of natural science topics. There usually are a large number of volunteers and other Center staff available giving demonstrations and hosting hands-on experiences (pet a Madagascar hissing cockroach anyone?). The Center also has a popular IMAX theatre on-premises where both science and current running theatre films are shown.
