Almost 50,000 Hawaiian Islanders call Washington state home, and this festival celebrates their homeland. The Seattle Center web site says, "The festival provides a feast for the senses as visitors journey through the sights, sounds and tastes of Hawaii. The Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival celebrates what it means to "live aloha." With Hawaiian music, hula, ono food, Hawaiian crafts, hula, music and flower making workshops honor this special culture."
