The Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum are open! Housed under one funkily designed building, these two museums offer up a ton of pop culture awesomeness. In addition to seeing historical sci-fi and musical items on display, there are a large number of hands-on exhibits. Kids can play with musical and video equipment. The museums also host a number of special events throughout the year (so make sure to check before you go). The museum is very accessible to children and the Sky Church is a nice place to relax between exhibits. Also on site are a couple really cool gift shops and a restaurant. And since the museum is located on the grounds of the Seattle Center, there are a ton of other activities to do in the area.
