The Ballard Farmers Market is a great family adventure on Sundays. Lots of fresh food farmers selling mostly local produce at this market, and you'll also find a great selection of other food vendors as well. The market takes place each Sunday and takes up most of Ballard Avenue NW in Old Ballard. Street parking is free on Sundays, so hunt around for a spot to park the vehicle. It's an outdoor market so you'll be spending time in whatever the day's weather happens to be. For little kids, bring a stroller.
