This is the big one in the Northwest - the 4th of July celebration at Gas Works Park. The days events and 4th of July fireworks are free (fireworks start at 10pm). Admission is free, but if you want to guarantee the best views - reserved seating is available for purchase. However, keep in mind that it is a big lake - and you'll probably be able to find a nice viewing spot somewhere along the water or on surrounding Queen Anne, Capital Hill or South Lake Union. Parking will be tight, and getting out of the area after the fireworks will be rough. However, it's a fun event and really worth it.
