Space Day is an internationally recognized, educational event held on the first Friday in May. The Museum celebrates during its Free First Thursday on May 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. In addition to the Museum’s education department presentation of fun, space-related activities, the Museum will feature exclusive preview screenings of "Space Racers," a new animated science series for PBS. The half-hour screenings will be at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., and introduced in-person by the filmmakers.
