STG presents Starbucks Hot Java Cool Jazz at The Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Friday, April 25, 2014. As part of Starbucks’ ongoing commitment to supporting the local youth arts community, this benefit concert features Ellington Festival award winning jazz bands from five local high schools with all proceeds from ticket sales going to support each school’s music program. Seattle area high school jazz musicians take the stage in a showcase of the city’s finest young talent performing with their big bands. This year’s performing bands include Ballard, Bothell, Garfield, Mountlake Terrace and Roosevelt High Schools.
