From the Town Hall web site, "Before recording was invented, communities had to make their own music. What songs would you sing if you lived in the Middle Ages or the Renaissance? This participatory program for all ages lets audience members bring history to life. Accompanied by period instruments, three singing leaders—Rebekah Gilmore, Jacob Breedlove, and Mary K. McNeill—guide the audience through a delightful and varied selection of early song, from ethereal rounds to comic ballads. All three musicians are beloved by local families for their school, choir, and workshop teaching and for their performances of early and traditional music. Experienced singers and newcomers young and old can enjoy this welcoming hour of song."
