From the Museum of Flight's web site, "Join the Museum of Flight as its Speed of Sound Concert Series returns with Seattle favorites, Mark Pickerel and His Praying Hands, Star Anna, and Day Laborers & Petty Intellectuals. The second installment of the Museum's Speed of Sound Concert Series will feature performances by Seattle-area artists, Mark Pickerel and His Praying Hands, Star Anna and opening act Day Laborers & Petty Intellectuals. Mark Pickerel was the drummer for seminal grunge favorite The Screaming Trees and has played on albums by Mark Lanegan, Brandi Carlile and Nirvana. Star Anna is a well-known Americana, alt-country performer who hails from Ellensburg. Opening the show will be the six-piece folk-apocalypse band Day Laborers and Petty Intellectuals. The concert is for those 21 years of age and older. It will take place in the Museum's Side Gallery overlooking the SR-71 Blackbird and other historic aircraft. Concert will begin at 8:00pm and end at 11:30pm. Doors will open at 7:30pm. Light snacks and bevereges will be available during the show. All proceeds of this event support the Museum's educational mission."
