Andrew Lohmar, ScanEagle Pilot[lectures, books, and readings]
From the Museum of Flight web site, "In April of 2009, hijackers took control of the cargo ship MV Maersk Alabama, holding the captain and crew hostage. The US Navy had to intervene, and playing a large part in the eventual rescue was a Boeing Insitu ScanEagle, which kept constant vigil over the hostages during the entire ideal. The particular ScanEagle involved joined the Museum of Flight's collection after the event, and can be seen in the new unmanned aircrafy exhibit in the Great Gallery. Andrew Lohmar flew this aircraft during the hostage situation, and will be presenting a public program in the William Allen theater talking about his and the ScanEagle's role the rescue operation."
